Increase your page file size, which is virtual memory created on the hard drive. You gotta have hard drive space to do so and virtual memory is not very fast. To do so: Start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System - Advanced Tab - Under Performance click settings - Advanced Tab - Under Virtual Memory click change - Highlight drive you'll use for page file click Custom size and increase maximum size remember 1024mb = 1gb

Well you may get lucky. You could be walking down a street and someone may run up to you and say 'hey, you look like the kind of girl that could do with some more memory'.

No way, memory is physical, not software. If you look in newspapers to find people selling computers or giving them away, you may get lucky and find chips that fit. People are growing wise to that nowadays though and sell stuff that will never work again. Good Luck

Hold your head to the side of your processor in 60 minute intervals. Each interval should increase your computer memory by 512mb. Good luck!

Ask friends if they have spare memory laying around. If they do, just make sure it matches what you have and/or that your motherboard can support the said chip. Installation is easy, a monkey could do it.

You want to steal it??
To make the most of what you have, you could not run so many applications at startup. (Edit msconfig if you know what you're doing.) You could use security that doesn't hog the memory.
