Only a shallow woman can answer this question negatively. Me myself I try and give everyone the benefit of doubt. I can't lie to you and say I would rather have a looker, but better to have a man that respects, and genuinely cares for you than, a man that thinks you to be his underling due to his look or social standings. So, I would loveeeeee a sweet handsome guy, and I would do just as well with the ugly duckling sweet guy. I would much rather just to have someone that is going to love and respect me, looks fade. When you grow old together lol the pearly whites maybe be come false ones, and that toned body turns in to flab..... do you love the person any less??? But anyway like I said its better to judge by character than a look.

yes I would be inclined to listen to a gentleman that maybe less attractive if he was confident and assertive, very sure of himself and had something genuine to say verses someone more attractive and just used a come on line or everything he had to say was just empty words. See you can clean up and shape and out side appearance but its hard to change the heart of a fool and what someone says comes from the inner being the heart.

yes....my friends tell me i have a thing 4 ugly-but-nice guys. i would probably b more likely 2 go 4 the confident AND handsome guy tho!!

Indeed, I would. Confidednce & assertiveness (without aggression) is much more attractive than physical features any day. Besides one day, physical beauty will be gone, if that's all you have, then you'll have nothing left. Would you guys feel the same way? Good luck. 2D

Looks is not everything that matters in a guy! Because it also counts how smart the guy is, how nice he is to u, how interesting he is when u talk to him!!!
my friejnds and I know a lot of ugly but confident guys that are easy , interesting, and fun to talk to! They r ugly, but that seems to banish a little when they talk!
