who is the man who does all of the movie trailers?

i'm not sure about other countries, but in the uk every movie trailer or commercial is voiced by the same voice, although i think there might be different people, you probably know the one i mean. who is he and why can't they choose a different voice. is there some deep psychological reason which hollywood knows, why that voice sells movies? or am i just picking up on weird things?

i know, it's kind of odd hearing the same voice that advertised the matrix doing the rugrats movie.

Good question. The guy we always hear in the U.S. is Don LaFontaine. I think there's a certain guy that "voices" a lot of the spanish channels too. I think the marketing guys think we want to hear a deep voice versus a higher pitched voice. Who knows? :-)

In the US it's the same guy too.... His "catch" phrase he often uses is "In a world..." his name is .... He did a Geico commercial... I can't remember his name.. He also did a commercial for Steamfresh vegatables..

No, it is probably because its from the the same production. They will have the same person to do it for them. And yeah, it could be a pychological reason.............
