I have this boyfriend and he gets jealous of everyone I talk to and pay attention. Its like all my attention has to be focused on him at all times, but I do not get the same satisfaction.

Becareful with this relationship,he should atleast allow you to see your girlfreinds if he gets that jealous and is over possesive that is a sign for potential abuse. So tell this guy you need your space and time with your freinds and if he will not allow it break up with the creep. Good Luck and tread lightly!

I am afraid in my younger days, before I got married, that green eyed monster affected me to.

I think it is in men the same way male dominance is in animals. At one time being jealous guaranteed you would have a brood. We're talking caveman times.

As you get older or possibly after you are married for a while, you see there was nothing to be worried or jealous about. I'm not saying that will be a cure for everyone however. Jealousy is nothing more than being worried someone is going to take away what you have. It's being insecure.

I also know, there is is alot less in numbers, women who either unconsciously or consciously flirt to make a husband jealous. Like I said though, I think this is rare.

I don't know how old you are but my guess is time will change attitudes and feelings. If this gets to be a control issue from him, then I would be more concerned. You'll probably know when you are being controlled.I hope this helped to explain and didn't make the water anymore muddy.

Thats just most men. They are very suspicious about who their gfs or wives talk to, but they dnt have a problem with talking to who they want. You jus gatta assure him that you just have other friends and he had to live with that.
