Would this be an unhealthy relationship?
well i like this guy at work. i had a major crush on him. we went swimming together and for walks etc. and i basically had a good time. then a week back all us friends went to his place for dinner, where he introduced us to his wife! that came as a shocker and i was like ****! i have to so get over him.
and so i tried to avoid him all this week, didnt even go near his office.
i met him yesterday at lunch and he explained that he wasnt really married, there are no legal papers, he doesnt love that girl, they are just good friends and she is always on tour because of her job. they just have the same apartment and say they are married because they are from orthodox families and live in a conventional society.
i met his 'flat mate' "wife" and she said the same thing and that they have no feelings for each other. and for her safety at work she pretends this. and some of our close friends also said the same.

he called me today and asked if i wanna go swimming.
am confused. should i continue hanging out with him like i used to? i really miss his company. or should i just be casual and try to date other men who dont have strange relationships? its not like im in love with this guy or anything... but he was really nice

You need to get some back - up information about this guy. Are you sure it isn't legal? Are you sure he didn't just get a divorce? He seems like he is lieing to hide something from you. Decline the swimming date, oblivious he doesn't want you to know something.

This already sounds like more trouble than it's worth. There are thousands of eligible guys out there that don't LIE about the people they're living with or mislead the women they date. You need to decide RIGHT NOW if you want to be the type of woman that enjoys spoon fed bullshitt, or if you're going to do what's best for YOU and recognize a potentially sticky situation before you jump into it.

This is healthy as long as he doesn't know you had a crush on him. Go ahead, keep on being his friend, and treat him nice. Kindly accept the invitation to go swimming, and be a good sport when it comes to your friend already having a "wife." Maybe you should be risky and try to ask him out.

Sounds like he has way to much going on...I say date other men...who wants a man who is living with a women weather he is with her or not ....everyone wants a single man with no strings attached...unless you are seeking a married man...then I guess this is the best way to go..

I think you should avoid this guy and, if possible, get a job elsewhere...He sounds like he's either really confused - or a bad person.

date someone else he is a real loser and so is she and I bet they are married and he does not want anybody to know . maybe that is the story he just wants everyone to believe . Dump his sorry behind . good luck.
