How do they go over the maximum 1000 characters for the initial question that Yahoo! Answers set up?

Some times if you write it in word and then paste it in the question fast enough it only reads it as 1 character.

I could without blinking an eye if I really wanted to. But the majority of Y!A seem to have lifetime memberships in the Short Attention Span club.

Wow! I have no idea how that was done. Most people just continue under the added details heading. That was certainly a shocking amount of words, wasn't it? I didn't even read it, just scrolled down.

Wow! I really have no idea how they get over that. Maybe it's something that happens when Yahoo gets a little messed up, so questions that long get through.
