RESUME OF GEORGE BUSH

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington , DC 20520

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

LAW ENFORCEMENT

I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving under
the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my
driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.

MILITARY

I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to
take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By
joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam.

COLLEGE
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average.
I was a cheerleader.

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE

I ran for U.S. Congress and lost.

I began my career in the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975.
I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas . The
company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money.
With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry,
including Enron CEO Ken Lay, I was elected governor of Texas.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS

I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies,
making Texas the most polluted state in the Union.
During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most
smog-ridden city in America.
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any governor in
American history.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida, and my
father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT

I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a
criminal record.
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over
one billion dollars per week.
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S.
Treasury. I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in
U.S. history.
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in
any 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of
the US stock market.
In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their
jobs and that trend continues every month.
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any
administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza
Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S.
President. I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for
receiving the most corporate campaign donations.

My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best
friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.
My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys
to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.
I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against
investigation or prosecution.
More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history.
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and
refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.
I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded
government contracts.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any
President in U.S. history.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest
bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.
I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history.
I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations
remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law.
I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S. "prisoners of war"
detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations
election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).
I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any
President since the advent of television.
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period.
After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the
worst security failure in U.S. history.
I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade
Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S.the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.
I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked,
pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut
in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families-in-wartime.
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for
attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.
I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans
(71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD.
I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice.

I'm 50 years old and it's common place for people to hate the president at any point in time especially when he's had two terms in office. You should have heard all of the "I hate Clinton" from when he had two terms. Don't take people's personal feelings, read up on them and make your own mind up about them. I'm an Independent so I make up my own mind and I don't pay ANY attention to others and their feelings. I like Bush to a degree but I hated Ted Kennedy's amnesty bill that Bush helped with.

Please make up your own mind and don't listen to the rants of others. Bush was the best choice for president of the two running both times.

(I just read over some of the other responses....people this is supposed to be a 13 yr old asking...geesh....some of you........)
Well, I for one don't 'hate' Bush, but do have concerns as to why the US is continuing to have to stay in Iraq....but that's another subject....
Anyway, to answer your question. I think a lot of people find it convenient to 'hate' Bush because first of all he is the 'leader' of our nation. It is easier to 'hate' someone from a distance.....Any one is that position automatically receives the finger of blame when things are not to the liking of the American people. Remember when we first went to war, Bush was more popular then because everyone wanted to go kick some a$$ over there? Well the American public is a fickle bunch and we are so accustomed to getting what we want, when we want (example-high speed internet) that people want to blame Bush as the reason our trooops aren't all home yet. We want it now, only sometimes it isn't that easy. There is a lot of stuff going on that the average citizen is unaware of.
OH I just thought of another way to explain it.(maybe) You know how your principal is the 'leader' of your school? Well if there are problems in your school, the principal is usually the first one people blame or 'hate'..even if he directly and personally is not responsible. People fail to see what is going on in the background...maybe incompetent teachers, or negligent parents....

Don't know it that helps or not...13 is so young to wrap your head around politics. I am leery of people who express 'hate' towards Bush...it makes me feel as though they are more so the enemy. My Mom always said...you love every one, but you don't have to like them...but you CAN hate spinach.

Americans mostly hate their all serving Presidents and Bush is no exception. When you grow up,you are likely to do the same unless you really don't want it.Many American Presidents were outstanding and remarkable persons, respected the world over except in their own country. Why the citizens of the most advanced and a functional democracy do it beats the rest of the world.People out side of America know that what Bush has done by taking on the worst enemies of Humanity could not be done by a lesser person. After a decade or so,people shall realize and thank America for the initiatives and sacrifices made by her citizens for the world peace and spread of democracy.Hope you shall keep an open Mind and learn to judge for your self than falling prey to media and short sighted politicians.

I don't hate anyone. Let's start by saying that.

But, I don't like Bush mainly becasue of the Iraq War. Doesn't matter what anyone says, how many apologists he has, it should never have been fought. He's responsible for a lot of sensless violence, death and destruction, and as an American citizen, I'm partly responsible...as are you and everyone else. I think that's a huge responsibility that he doesn't take seriously. He was more interested in the financial benefit for his doners and the political weight he could throw around to get himself re-elected.

I dislike him becasue of his stance toward women and gays. While I am neither, I don't like to see my friends and countrymen have their rights limited.

I dislike him, because he is not worldly intelligent. He is politically, but he gives no thought to how his actions as the most powerful man in the world have baring on other people.

Want me to keep going?

The list is a long one, the death toll is even longer. Do your research and look at the facts yourself, then make up your own mind as to if Bush is really a good representative of this nation and what it stands for. I admire the fact that you are asking questions..that's good for you and the country as a whole..I'm 50, and this ain't my first time at the rodeo...

Well I can't speak for everyone but as far as I'm concerned!

I don't hate Bush as a person. It's the things that he's done while President that chafe the skin off my butt. I think what most people mean when they say they hate Bush is that they don't have any use for him as a leader of our Country.

As a person he's probably fine man.

Not everyone hates Bush! Actually, his father, mother, brother and Dick Cheney are quite fond of him. I have heard that he has a number of admirers who are wealthy, own large corporations and many who call themselves evangelical Christians.

Although the number of his supporters is far less than those who claim to hate him, he none the less is the decider who is leading our great country into that hot abyss called hell!

Unfortunately, I am not old enough or smart enough to explain his totally illogical behavior to a 13 year old. However, my four year old son is smart enough to know when he is being deceived by a grinning, arrogant, belligerent, over bearing, self serving liar whose vision of the truth is hidden behind yesterdays fabrication. God--Help us all!!!

I don't hate him as a person nearly as much as I hate him as a president. He seems like the type of guy you'd keep around in your circle of friends just to make fun of when he says stupid stuff.

When it comes to politics, he just doesn't cut it. What's with this war? Invading Iraq because of 9/11? That's like me killing the postman over a valuable vase the maid broke.

It's not Bush, that we hate...we're just extremely disatisfied with his broken policies, on just about every major issues that America is currently struggling with; starting from the economy to the war on terror.
