I would very much like to get my daughter a webkinz, but they are very expensive. All of her friends have at least one, and I feel so bad that I can't get one for her. She has played the online games with her friends when she has play dates, but obviously cannot share an account. Any suggestions?

get her a webkinz! she probably feels left out that she does not have one. i know some kids that have them and they love them! sure, you could have her do chores, but that isnt really the point of birthdays

Get your daughter an online account on Millsberry. It is free and totally good. There is no chat or anything so you can be sure that is is safe for kids. Encourage your daughters' friends to sign up too. You can send ecards to other members, play games to earn money, go shopping, get a virtual house, own pets, feed your character and visit the lake to go fishing! It is so much fun!
You could also get your daughter a tamagotchi virtual pet. They are only about £7 and you can feed them and raise them. They are available from woolworths, argos and all good toy retailers.
Remember, it's the thought that counts!

ummm tell ur daughter that when she does something special like clean up her room or make her bed, tell her that everytime she does a deed like that, she will earn money towards a savings for the webkinz!
