True Friendship is when the two of you agree that you will disagree.
You've always got each others back.
You will take your friend's deepest secrets to the grave with you.
You may not talk for several weeks or even months..but still you just pick up where you left off, catch up, laugh, sympathies and enjoy the time you have.
There are "FEW" true friends.

Someone who cares about you, is ready to stand by you in times of need emotionally and if possible financially within their means. Someone who is not afraid to tell you your mistakes at the risk of hurting you...who will always be the force or the motivator behind your dreams.....who is happy to share in your success... whom you can depend on despite your differences or arguements.....who will not disclose your secrets or innermost fears. That someone does not have to be of the same sex. I have true friends of both sexes and my friendship with them have lasted the past 40 years.

It's 3 am, you're sound asleep, the phone rings and your friend asks you for bail money. You get up, go down to the police station and bail them out...no recriminations, no judging, just being there for them in their time of need. And knowing full well that they would do the same for you.

Someone that can be there for you no matter what....someone you can trust and respect...someone that will let you know if you really do look fat in those jeans, and you don't get mad. A friend is someone you can tell anything to and know that you don't have to worry that they might tell someone else. These are the things that I have in my best friend.
