Yes I got an email to that effect and I loved it, it talked about how stupid we are when we order a Coffee spill it on ourselves and sue the store that sold it because they didn't tell me it was hot, thus now the lids say "hot liquid" - WHO orders cold coffee, come on be honest?
And a whole heap of other funny paradoxes that people do...
I believe it is true that common sense is not common.

Unfortunately, common sense really isn't all that common. I have a brother that's all book smarts and nothing else. He could do a complicated math problem, but he can't figure out how to take a hot pan out of the oven without burning himself . . . and he's fifteen for God's sake! The algebraic expressions aren't going to get him very far if he doesn't figure out how to live without hurting or killing himself first.

it seems the new generation does not know what common sense is. Not sure if thats because they don't think first before they act, or if they were never allowed to deal with things on there own growing up.

that could not be more true. i was a unit leader at a summercamp for kids with disabilities a while back and i had a volunteer in my group who was there as a part of the college requirement. they were going to start their 7th year of college (they were working on their PhD) and i knew more about the subject than they did with a current masters degree. good luck.

I don't belive in common sense , That type of sense is in the eye of the beholder . Why should anyone be considered dumb if they don't have MY " common sense "

It is true!!!!!!!!!!!!Some people can be so intelligent when it comes to "Book smarts" but totally lack any Common sense at all......
