Me and my friends actually debated this LOL. Some ppl say right after the attitude era, or during the Invasion storyline, while others say after the first draft, while others say in 2005, and then there are some who for some weird reason think the WWE is at its best. What's ur opinion? Here's ur chance 2 tell me how much u hate wrestling and how fake it is if that's what you do in this section all the time.

I go with the draft.

There was no real reason for it. People say the roster was too big, but WWE didn't have to get those WCW guys. They were still being paid by turner like all the rest of the people who sat out. There was no #2 company because #2 and #3 were owned by WWE.

The roster split messed up the tag division. There really hasn't been any important stables since then. JBL had one, and there was Spirit Squad. Half the roster needs to be in OVW instead of being on TV. They lost about half of their fans base, which is why they stuff like the diva search now. Many wrestler have left since the roster split for different reason.

We wouldn't have to see Chris Master fight a no name wrestler if there was no roster split. The month the were in Europe when they stunk it up just because they could. That came from the roster split as well.

I think it was after the attitude era. Invasion was still pretty interesting and a lot of fun but the second after that the WWE went into safe mode and has been going downhill ever since. As you said, i think its due to lack of competition. As TNA gains momentum I am sure that WWE will kick it up a notch.

When it became a multi million business by the McMahon family.
Old days was like a carnival item.
They had wrestiling in the high school gyms when I was younger in the 1970s. Was interesting.
Then it became a TV sport with big $$$$$$$$$$4 tags.

When WWF changed its name to WWE, which, I believe was around May of '02, a month after I tuned in to watch both RAW and Smackdown regularly. By that time, Austin was on his way out, The Rock had become a better talker than a wrestler and perhaps one of the greatest feuds of ALL time, Austin/McMahon and the NWO scene, was history. Oh, and Jericho had become a better wrestler than a talker.

i wud say when WWF was gone, after that all the entertaining guys left such as the rock, stone cold steve austin, all the good matches were gone, AND THE STORYLINES BECAME ****!, thats why i barely watch WWE now, they just look like some kids play fighting, in the WWF they didnt wait for eachother to punch.

After WWE bought WCW. There has been no major competition for them and they have been on cruise control ever since.
