Love Hurts
Words and Music by F. Bryant and B. Bryant
Love hurts,
love scars,
love wounds
and mars.
Any heart
not tough
or strong enough
to take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain.
Love is like a cloud,
holds a lot of rain.
Love hurts
Oooh oooh love hurts
I'm young,
I know
but even so,
I know a thing or two,
I've learned from you.
I've really learned a lot
really learned a lot.
Love is like a stove,
burns you when it's hot.
Love hurts
Oooh oooh love hurts
Some fools think of happiness,
blissfullness,
togetherness,
Some fools fool themselves I guess,
but they're not fooling me.
I know it isn't true,
know it isn't true.
Love is just a lie
made to make you blue.
Love hurts
Oooh oooh love hurts

Yes, just yesterday my partner was violent to me, terribly violent and wrecked my house with my nephew and friend present. I have always know he was an alcoholic, and have seen him lapse, but yesterday was a shocker, and any love I may have had for a fine man has gone now finally. And I do not hate myself for this, but have chucked him out got the police and he has nowhere to go unless he seeks treatment, but I will never look or speak to him again I feel so betrayed and hate myself for not listening to warnings from my loved ones.

No there is never regret in loving someone, even if things fall apart, you found some reason to love that person, some sort of good they bestowed in them... And you never know what amount of impact in a positive light you may have given them as well... YOU can't take back love.... God loves us freely, we should love freely as well...
Toys, you can take back, time is gone as we speak, love is in a sense, the same... We should never feel hate for what was once and now gone... Important words to think about....

Yes I do, but that is over now and I have found my dream man...I thought I loved my ex but the more I was treated bad the more I realized I was putting in all the love and he was giving me all of the hatred..

Yes I have but I am finding out it does not do any good it only makes you feel worse...so now its time to put the past right where it belongs in the past and embrace the future with open arms.

No, I've not HATED myself.. but there have been a few times where I've had to shake my head and wonder what I was thinking when I chose to be with certain people.

Yes. He was married so I felt guilty. But I loved him more than the guilt. I loved him more than anything and he made me happy.
