As a NYer I will say Giuliani did a tremendous job on 9/11 and took up the slack where our national leadership left off. However should NY be attacked again that distinction would go to Bloomberg and Giuliani would be left in the cold with little clout for his presidential platform.

Why?? He's not the "mayor" of the U.S. as he was the mayor of NY when 9/11 happened.
