Of course corporations don't want it passed. Anyone who has unfair bargaining power wouldn't want it passed.

I've been fighting an arbitration nightmare for five year, because a company willfully ignored a contract, and then tied the case up in arbitration every time I tried to take it to court.

While I haven't seen the specific text of the bill (since it hasn't made it out of committee yet) it looks like the intent is to grant a statutory right to sever any arbitration clause in a contract -- thus not making arbitration be forced upon people because they have no choice.

Assuming the law is even halfway well written, anyone who values justice should support this bill.
