there is good and bad points to using the net for friendships. on one hand it was good for me as i felt less lonely and isolated and actually met my current partner as a result of using the net.
one bad point is that a lot of people suffer abuse from strangers like i did only last night.i was chatting to some guy on messenger who had seen my profile on a friendship site and he proceeded to make disgusting sexual suggestions such as asking me to show my boobs on the webcam and asked if i "wanted a shag with him" and when i refused i was subjected to appaling and grossly offensive language and even when i blocked him he continued to send abusive remarks til i had no choice but to go offline.
it is very easy to mislead people on the net especially if you are not prepared to show your face and as we all know a lot of young girls and boys have been taken in and groomed by peodophiles.
so it has its good and bad points.

Msn is a good way to kill boredom, loneliness & have fun. It is especially good for staying in contact will real-life friends as phone calls can be expensive.
Online friendships are good, in my opinion, as long as it is taken lightly and not treated too seriously. Further involvement is not recommended as people are not always who & how they say they are.

i think it depends like if you have real mates that u no who they are and don't see or talk to them often msn is a good thing but other things are if u met them somewhere like a chat room or anything like that for all u no it could be a 58 year old man trying to chat up and 14 year old and asking her to flash on webcam or something so u just have to be very careful who u talk to hope i helped.

They are good to add a little spice to life. However, they should not inter fer with your real life. It is a fantasy, the mistake people make is to start thinking it is reality.

All friendships are good. It is the individuals that spoil them. If all were absolutely honest and open there would not be any problems but regretfully not all people are that straightforward.
