I do not think all Iranians are terrorists, if that's what you're getting at.
I think all terrorists are terrorists. They come from many many many countries, including the USA itself. There are Iranian terrorists, but MOST Iranians, and MOST people are NOT terrorists. There are terrorists from many nations.
Why do I just listen to Western TV? Television from the Middle East is not available on the cable system where I am. All that is available is western TV.

I don't believe all Iranians are terrorists. I think in any country you'll find some people who could be considered terrorists.
I think the US and Iran have a very difficult relationship due to the US overthrowing an Iranian leader in the 1950s. When a country does something like that to another country, it makes it hard for the two countries to have a good relationship. I don't think most Americans know this though.
I actually don't get all my news and information from regular US TV though. Some of my news comes from the English version of a German international news program, some non-mainstream media, and also a Middle Eastern news program that consists of new stories from various TV news programs there.

I DON'T THINK ALL Iranians are terrorists, I do however believe that Iran is a safe haven for terrorists, thereby making it a threat to the West.
Islamic fundamentalist think they will rule the world and the rest of us are infidels, however before ruling the world perhaps they should have read up on Glasgow, a boot in the balls comes highly recommended and I guess their supporters must have been left red faced, if that's not a contradiction in terms !
We watch western TV because we live in the west, and unlike some countries we are allowed to watch what we please !

You see, it's this kind of generalistic thinking that keeps people hating each other for no justifiable reason! Western TV does NOT tell us that Iranians are terrorists! What it DOES do is report every day how many Iraqis die EVERY DAY from Islamic extremist suicide bombers - Sunni against Shiite. IT'S ABOMINABLE!
The West DOES NOT THINK IRANIANS OR IRAQIS OR MIDDLE EASTERNERS ARE TERRORISTS. We think Muslim extremists are terrorists and when we read the Koran to get an idea about what's going on with Islamists, we read that all people who are not Muslim should be killed!
If you are a Muslim, then your "holy book" tells your people to kill us! THAT'S why many of us think MUSLIMS are basically terrorists.

It's probably because the Iranian president keeps threatening people. Besides, considering our past differences and the despicable Iranian behavior during those times, Iranians are not seen as friends anyway.

Why do you just listen to the tv? Not all westerners think all Iranians are terrorists. Most of us realise that there are good and bad people in every country.

I don't think all Iranians are terrorists. That is an awful stereotype started by prejiduced western people. One of my best friends mom is Iranian and she is a wonderful person.

Because most Westerners only hear about Iran on the news when there is violence happening. Thats the only time most people even hear the country's name, therefore they will associate it with violence.
And we just listen to Western TV's because we are in the West, its easier than listening to TV's from the far east.

People judge countries by their politicians and their extremists.
As a result the US is thought of as near fascist, militaristic, thuggishly bullying and ignorantly stupid. Visit and you will find most people are none of these things.
The same is true of Iran.
The difference is that the Iranian government is a bigger threat to World peace, and Iranian extremists are statistically more involved in acts of World wide terror.

I dont think any one religion,race,nationality, etc. is terrorist. I think the crazy bastards that want to inflict harm on other people for silly reasons are terrorists. And they come in all shapes,sizes,and colors. Its a shame that we as human beings blame all for the actions of a few. As for the western tv. Thats the only tv i have so i am stuck watching it.
