Jo Jo is right...left handed boxer...for all u girls that said baseball...NOT...boxing..have you ever heard the announcer say Oh the manager just called for the south paw out of the bullpen?? NOT...they call for a lefty.

Sorry stealhead, I had to butt in. YES, I have heard a baseball announcer refer to a left handed pitcher as a "Southpaw." I've heard it many times and that's where I first heard the term (I don't follow boxing at all) Therefore, I must respectfully disagree with you that the term is not used in baseball.
