My friend Sarah and I just tried to go to a local diner for 24 hours. We took a couple breaks and got distracted during one and didn't complete the 24 hours, but we went for well over 12. We kept ourselves entertained, reading aloud to each other, listening to music, talking, entertaining visitors and eating. What would you do?

I hate being bored, so I'd start cleaning if they let me. Even prepping food if they let me. I'd even bus tables or wrap silverware. Or restock stuff. I've worked for 40 hours straight before doing this, 24 should be no problem. Oh, and I'd eat a couple meals too.

I would drink coffee and talk to strangers. When you do this I hope you tip well for your stay. You are taking up a table in a waitresses section. They might only have a few and you could be costing them money.

I would EAT EAT EAT...and then I would ask if I could help cook...and give waitresses breaks...listen to the music.....just chill ...I think that would be a great fun day.
