Well I was practicing my karate in my private bedroom when my grandfather ran in with a glitter-ball gun and shot glitter right in my eye. Grandpa was proud, but the glitter-ball was as big as a golf ball. Since the accident I have been keeping my eye closed in fear that I might die if I open it. I would appreciate it if you would tell me what would happen if I opened my eye.
I reread what I wrote up there and it seems I did not have to mention my karate practicing. I heard from my grandpa that I am supposed to learn from the mistakes I make. If I had never made that mistake, I would not have learned a valuable lesson. I will keep my mentioning of my karate practacing as a memorial of that mistake, so that if someday I can't remember the lesson I learned from it, I can go back and review my mistake.
I would appreciate any advice about what to do about my glitter problem. Thank you, all of you, even though nobody has came to answer me as of yet. Oh dear, I am out of characaters....

I have found a new way to add even more details. I feel proud of my discovery. My grandfather would like it if somebody would buy his glitter-ball guns that he has invented. They are on sale, you get 5 for $5.00 if you would like to purchase one, please contact my grandfather.

Thank you, that is all.

I opened my eye, and I am safe.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for saving my life, even though I was never in danger. I feel so grateful.

Dude......That was funny.
You had me in stitches. It was like a roller coaster of drama theatre. Is he in trouble or isn't he.
And that whole Grandpa solicitation thing.
What a hoot!
That was rich.

If the glitter is the old-fashioned metal kind, don't do this if you get any sharp pain or if there's been blood or pink tears. If the glitter is the modern plastic or mylar type, you need to flush the eye, gently, with warm water.

The easiest way to do this is to fill a wide-topped cup or a bowl to the brim with water, hold it over the sink, and put your eye in until the lids (upper and lower) are fully immersed. Slowly open your eye. Move it around underwater, looking every direction. Make circles with it going counterclockwise and clockwise.

Usually most eye irritants will float out.

You need to flush the glitter out of your eyes, use plain eye drops and keep flushing for at least one minute. glitter can cause a scratch on the cornea. If after you have flushed your eyes you feel a scratching sensation you would need to see an ophthalmologist.

Your grandfather needs to be more careful when playing with any type of gun.

When I was a teen, I used to wear a lot of glitter eye make up & that crap would always get in my eyes.Geez, I've accidently poked myself in the eye with pens & pencils, got an ant in my eye ball, got paint in my eye. I really don't think it's going to kill you. I would suggest cupping your hands with cold water & sticking your face in the water & repeatledy blinking your eyes in. If it becomes really painful, swollen, looks infected go to the doctor. You should be fine as long as your not getting glitter in your eyes all the time, like me. I think the crap scraped my eyeballs because my vision isn't as good as it used to be.

You're not going to die.
Open your eye, go to a sink, splash water on your face to rinse out any glitter that might still be in your eye, and you'll be fine.
If you leave your eye shut, the glitter is just going to be trapped there and start irritating your eye.
