Sensible man - what if it is isolated to my house - then what?

How do I tell if I have a pressure regulator - where would it be in the line?

if you have a pressure tank than you have a pressure regulator you can adjust the pressure.you may also have an air leak in the pressure tank bladder, which if it does you will need a new tank.

If you are on municipal/town/city water, check your main shut valves - make sure it is fully open. The one at the street will have to be checked by you water supplier.

If you have a pressure system, the pressure switch may be defective and/or your foot valve may be clogged. If the foot valve is clogged, your pump will not be able to keep up with the demand at heavey use periods (mornings, evenings, and when you are doing laundry).

Could be another user in your area that has large taps for water. Large water users connected to the same main water line can cause this. Ask your neighbors if they have the same problem. This will tell you if it is isolated to your home.

Check and see if you have a pressure regulator. If so, it may be faulty.
