Yes I do. It's a farm fishing pond not far from here. Went there one day to get my mind off the one I love. Fishing didn't do it, just sat by the water tossing stones and thinking about her. Then a bunch of cows came down to the pond. One (I now call Bossy) nudged me away from a patch of clover I was sitting on. So I moved away and sat down again. I started talking to this old cow about what I was feeling. She never did say much but she was a good listener. Now old Bossy and I are friends. I still go back there to talk to Bossy and bribe her with a couple of carrots. She's still a very good listener.

I walk out my back door, through the back gate,into the pines, and stroll up or down the creek. I might be back in an hour or three days, never know how long I'll walk. Gives me time to think, and reflect on lifes mysteries. Also gives me the solitude I need to write my best poetry.

I lock myself in the bathroom and take a long hot soak in the tub. I light candles and take a good book ...but i leave the telephone in another room.

I love walking in the woods or along the shoreline. Either way, they are both great places to be alone.

shopping- Salvation Army,Goodwill- for the most part the kids DON'T want to go with me so I can poke as many corners as I want-no time restrictions nobody saying, "can we leave?!"

long and lonely drives at night. put the windows down, turn up the music and drive. also the beach is nice.
