Ok, I got suspended from work pending a drug/alcohol test because I got in an accident. I was suspended for three days, and my test came back completely negative. I was wondering do I still get paid for the days I missed of work?

It depends on company policy.

My company suspends people who fail company given drug test( given after accidents, etc ).

And then sends the sample off to the lab, for a higher quality test.

if it comes back negative,

The person suspended is paid normal pay for the days missed.

You need to ask the company nurse, HR or your supervisor.

And slow down on that tow motor !!!!!!!

You should still be paid if the test came back negative.

Only if you are in union. Chances are your employer will opt out because of the accident.

its a very good question. I guess it depends on company policy. The best thing to do would be to ask your supervisor.

this is an internal situation, not a legal one. Ask your HR rep.
