All these teams except Pakistan has the capability to defeat Australia,as far as India is concerned,Indian batting are the best in the world with Sachin,Dravid,Ganguly,Dhoni,Yuvraj in the team but the only concern is india's bowling attack ,if Zaheer,Kumble,Shrisanth can bowl and perform to their full potential then India can beat Australia.About South Africa, bowling is fine if they impove their batting a bit they canalso beat australia, and about Sri Lanka, they have good bowling as well as batting attack but if they play with confidence and without pressure and self-belief they can laso beat australia

True that Aussies are current world champs and won the world cup 3 times consecutively.
But cricket is unpredictable game, any team can be beaten by anyteam. Even Bangladesh can beat Australia.
We all know that SA beat Australia by chasing 434 runs, SL beat them comprehensively in 1996 world cup.

All these teams have the possibility to beat them, even any team who plays cricket currently.
(But Aussies have to play ethically as gentlemen - unlike in 2007 world cup finals) Afterall winning by any mean is not everything. Either win or lose, sportsmanship is the thing matters at the end of the day.

On a given day all the four teams which you have mentioned can beat australia. It's all about performance. All these teams are very talented. South Africa has a better chance of beating them followed by India,Sri Lanka & Pakistan at last because their record against aussies in the recent times have been extremely poor. For India it's not that difficult to beat australia in India because of the spinning wickets.

All the teams defeated Australia once or more times before. In future it can be possible by the above teams again. Wait & see.

Australia is not one of the best teams in cricket, but the BEST. They have an excellent development program, which I believe sets them above world cricket. My pick would be Sri-Lanka or South Africa to beat them, although the latter always disappoints.

First thing is Australia is not one of the best teams in Cricket. They are the best team in cricket. Second thing is that no other team has capacity to beat them. If they are able to beat it will only be called an upset. However the team which can come little closer to Aussies in South Africa. Other three...no chance.

None of them for the simple fact that they are too scared to beat Australia. Once a team has dominated cricket such a Australia it is hard mentally to tactically manage to win. The only glimps of hope, is that the (one of the greatest ever) team is dismantelling due to there age, though Crickret Australia has much talent left in the tank.................

But you can always hope
