If you have windows you should already have
the active x control system

When you go a site it may require you to install
an active x control for that site

If your Internet zone security is set to MAX
you wont be able to
If set to med high level it will be a bar FLASHING
below the address bar in browser alerting you
to ALLOW installation

When you're on a website and something needs to use ActiveX to work, I believe there may be something that comes up and lets you know that ActiveX is needed for something on the website and then lets you click on it to install it and may also give you some other options as well.

Also, just so you know, I believe that ActiveX can harm your computer depending on what it's used for.
