but they are region 1 had some answers b4 but they didnt help or 1 of the sites is closed need a simple solution and a link to a download if poss thanks very much

Do you have a drive on your computer that's able to play DVDs?

Use a program such as "AnyDvD"
to remove the region settings.
Oh! by the way you can only change the region settings 5 times and it will permenantly stay at the 5th one.
Then you would have to reinstall the player program.
Using AnyDvD would be a better solution.

set your dvd drive to region 1

stick the dvd in your laptop a window should pop up saying change to region 1.

search for america click it

get leadtek winfast dvd or maybe a real alternative(not sure with this one), if you need a player

btw do you have a dvd-rom?

google a program called "regkill" and install it.
