Well... in Ventura, California if YOU engage in a "home fireworks show", you're looking at jail time.
12700 H&S - Any person who violates any provision of this part, or any regulation issued pursuant to this part, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not less than $500.00 nor more than $1,000.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail for 1 year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Conversion of fireworks changes the charges to a FELONY!
You need to have a pyrotechnics LICENSE to own, store, and discharge any of the fireworks you've mentioned; http://osfm.fire.ca.gov/fireworks.html
