Love:It is love when the partner’s happiness is important to you. The more important, the more in love you are. Sometimes it reaches the point where the partner’s happiness is more important than you own: true love? Lust is when it is all about how you feel and he/she is just a fantasy in your mind.

Getting over someone is...To get over you have to go through a grieving process, just like when someone dies. The first step is to accept the situation. This is harder than a death because you keep thinking you can change things. Still it must be done if you want to move on. One always has a hard time accepting facts where there has been a strong emotional bonding and commitment. The next step is anger. It is not wrong to be angry. You have to experience this to get past it. When someone dies you get over the anger fast because you realize it is not rational. In this case you can use the anger… stoke it up to help you move on. And you can use it to move on to other things. Get involved with other people. Be busy for a while. You can use all of this to help you

Well, imagine life without LOVE!! I don't think it would be any better without it. Actually, love is the reason we wake up everyday, its the reason why we breath, and its the reason why we are individuals.
If everyone you love is supposed to love you back, then life would be pretty much boring, and all people around the world would look like the Brady Bunch!

In other word, "love IS life". We can't live without love, just like we can't live without air. And if love didn't feel so painful at times, it wouldn't have felt so good either!
But a true lover never waits for his/her love to be returned, cause true love is unconditional.
Love is immortal, it comes when you least expect it. You can't prevent yourself from loving someone when his picture is already engraved in your heart. And once you truely love someone, you'll always keep loving him nomatter how much you try to forget.

If you reach the point where absolutely no one loves you, then you must ask yourself "What is it that am doing that pushes people away?". Everyone is born with love in his heart, and it really depends on how they manage this love, its just like an investment actually. If you understand the attributes and rules of love, and give it to the right people, am sure you'll be loved back.

The pain of love is endless if you don't understand the way life changes around you. The only way to stop this pain is to believe that it could've gotten bad if that love lasted; and I don't mean just to fool yourself, I mean think deeply of it, there is always an advantage in that.
Just move on and try something new. The only way you can find happiness after all that pain is to experience new feelings towards different people!

You can only gauge your own feelings of love and what you do with them. True love lasts through all of the above. True love doesn't abandon you either. I guess that is what I would say about love.
Broken hearts heal, even when it feels like the end of the world. Why stop yourself from loving someone? If it is a bad situation, stay away, but why add the pain of trying to stop your love. The intensity and need of fulfillment will fade, as your new life fills in the gaps of the life you left behind.

It is a bittersweet feeling though! It can be painful, yes, to love and lose, but even after the loss, you can recall that love with fond memories no one can take from you! After a breakup, (even in family relationships) all you can do is let yourself dwell over the relationship a day or so, allowing all the emotions to surface, then put it to rest. You definitely need reassurance from others and then some activity to occupy your time and move on. But to me the most painful four-letter word is HATE.

Uh hm. Love, Pain, Hate, Life, Live, Star, Free, Dare, Fate, Fear where the ones I could come up with. I like "Fate". Edit: Oh wow I thought you needed ONE word but I just read the Question again. Oh well, I don't have time to come up with any ideas. Good luck though! My mind isn't positive enough right now anyways because I can only think of "Life Ends"

yes it hurts all the way around, but if it wasn't ever painful at some point...it wasn't really love. in order to have felt real love, even in an ending, there will also be pain.
it's painful when something happens to that love. whether it's a child getting hurt or putting themselves in hurtful positions in life for a parent, or a broken heart b/c the love that you thought was forever had a not so long trip, or that friend that somehow had the hugest brain fart ever and forgot in a moment that they were your friend and did something that is simply irreversible....love hurts
but i definitely love love. and I'm glad to have it and to have experienced it in my life
