That is a typical trait of your average narcissist. Super self centered, and what they give is so much more important to them than what they've received. Their own acts mean more to them than yours. Also, a narcissist believes that anything received was deserved, so gratitude is unnecessary. Very hard to like these types.

one who gives should always be willing to show what they give if they can't or won't do that in some way then others will take it for granted that they have not given a thing and one should always give credit where credit is due, some want all the credit, some do deserve more of the credit and some are just selfish not always though

We shouldn't, its morally repulsive. I geuss its part of the failings of human nature in which we have to better ourselves. If someone can learn to not feel those emotions, they are well on the way to true happiness.

i suppose its just a part of some peoples nature, its often difficult to calmly communicate with others, especially when in dispute with them, and to approach the argument with understanding of their side of it, which is very important

because the people are inherently selfish...they never put themselves in the other persons shoes...they only think about what a situation has "cost" them...
