My 16 year old wants to start a T-shirt business. He wants to be able to get a picture and have it print right on the t-shirt.

Can anyone tell me where I can get an inexspensive machine?

There are a couple of ways. One is by silk-screening, and the other is "transfer". Transfer is cheaper, but doesn't hold up as well. A transfer can been done with a computer and a printer with special ink. You'd need an iron or a hot-press in order to make the transfer. may I make a suggestion? Why not sub-out the jobs for a while to see how it goes before insvesting a ton of money? Just a thought.....

If he's got some artistic talent, he might try art t-shirts, where he paints the design on the t-shirt. That way each one is a one-of-a-kind piece.

Otherwise, he might try silk screening. This makes shirts that cam still be different from others, by varying colors, placement, etc. The link below can give him the basics of silk screening.
To do it on a larger scale would take more robust equipment, though.

Hey,

I know tons of people who do this and making money from t shirts is very very very hard. But if you do buy your traffic from the humor site market...as traffic is targeted and cheap (1c a visitor) its not hard to get good conversions.

Im a young man and I make a living as an affiliate my current site is http://www.wealthymarketer.net and it does very well for me

Use the computer...you can paper to do this...and then just iron it on...or go to a place where they sell dry clean irons...
