Curl you eyelashes with a heated eyelash curlers first and then use a good quality brand of Mascara. I use 'RIMMEL London Volume Flash' (Brush) with is very good another one i love is 'MAYBELLINE New York Lash Stylist' (comb not brush) both about 6-7 english pounds so i dont know what they are in america but there not very expensive and there both big brand names, Gd Lk xXx!

You should find a mascara that is right for you. I'm a Mary Kay consultant, we've got several different mascaras. You can have a couple different ones, depending on the type of make up user you are and the look you are trying to achieve.

You mainly want one that will not clump, and will separate your lashes. Try using an eyelash curler prior to putting on mascara. This will help with your lashes ability to hold a curl better. (I don't do this b/c my lashes are naturally really long and curl on their own.)

Ours range in price from $10 to $15
Ultimate - maximum thickening, more dramatic look
Lash Lengthening - lengthens, strengthens, and appears natural
Waterproof - won't wash, sweat, or cry off.

curl them first probably with a heated curler
then apply your mascara normally
wait a few seconds and apply a second coat, only this time when you get to the tips of the lash...hold it there for a few seconds, and then lightly move the brush side to side.
repeat until you get the look you want

it should give them more hold and it makes them look longer at the same time.

for a different kind of mascara, my favorite is either Avon's SuperFull, or BADgal

but sephora.com is an awesome place for any kind of makeup, look for whats in your budget and find a store near you.

Try using a eyelash curler to start, but curl them BEFORE your mascara goes on. Then use Volume shocking mascara (you can get it at london drugs or walmart) if you have thin eyelashes. Or try covergirls fantastic lash CURVED brush! it goes on SO GOOD! and its so cheap! its in a red bottle, once again most likely found at walmart

I use Avon waterproof. It's inexpensive and stays on forever. It doesn't have to be Avon , it's mainly the waterproof that makes it stay on so well. I used to sell Avon so I know a way to apply it that might help you. Turn the brush vertical and brush just the tips of you eye lasshes, then turn brush horizontily and as you stroke your lashes wiggle a bit the brush so it coats all the sides of your lashes.

Loreal and Revlon are reliable and reasonably priced. Curl the lashes before you apply. Apply two to three layers alternate each layers between eyes.

you could try getting your lashes tinted black at a spa and then using clear mascara to lengthen them and do not have to worry about the clumping and seperating that mascara needs or you could find a spa that does lash extensions which also omit the need for mascara

if you're not prepared to pay more than an average price for mascara then it's going to be prettyyy hard to keep them as a curl..
