You'll be better if others think you are pretty good as well.

Have to disagree with Big R, here... I know plenty of professional actors who haven't trained, who are just naturals, and they work all the time. Of course, you get training in a sense with every project you do.

People LOVE to tell actors that there are "rules".... you HAVE to do this, or you CAN'T do that... especially other actors who may be struggling. They may have followed a certain path and want to believe that's the ONLY path. It's total BS!

Everyone has their own way, their own road. Yes, training and maybe even getting a Master's degree is the way for some.... and then some people are just naturals! Sure, everyone could use some training, but many people succeed without it. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either frustrated with their own career, or hasn't really been working very long, or very much-- otherwise they'd know that there are ALL kinds in showbiz!!

Hi,

everyone starts somewhere. If you really want to get into acting you will need to start taking classes, GOOD classes with a GOOD teacher...on-going. You never stop developing your acting skills. You will always be learning.

I can suggest to you a free ebooklet that I created. The reason I created it was to answer questions similar to yours more thoroughly. The ebooklet is 28 pages and is called: What It Takes To Become An Actor. Just go to http://www.actingcareerstartup.com , sign in and you can download it for free. It will give you some insight as to what to do to get your acting career started.

Hope that helps!

Good luck!

Of course! First of all, school plays are experience. Remember that. If acting is your dream, passion and goal and yes, you can become an actor. Acting is a hard business though. You wont get into Hollywood right away. You have to accept that. That's all I can help you with

Break a Leg! xo

Only if you're a natural or a character. There's a lot of people working out there that never too acting. Candace Bergen, for example, and she had her own TV show, Lauren Hutton, she went from modeling into acting.

You're not really asking us a question but I'll assume you're asking if you may become an actor. Of course you can. I recommend trying to get into the advertising acting industry first to get a bit of publicity and try to get small parts in TV shows. Just try to get noticed by TV or movie producers.

From what I have read in the short time of having a book in my possession. It is said that acting comes natural and should you have that passion then your skills will be learned with ease.

Why don't you try acting in a communtiy theater if there is one in your area. That will give you more experience and it is also fun. That will give you some more experience and you can go from there.
