My daughter did the exact same thing. It could be too much stimulation at the moment that you are doing it. Often times my daughter would do that when she was ready for a nap. It was her way of telling us she was done and needed to sleep. How far are your faces from you son? Are you too close? Try backing up a little to see if this helps. Good luck!

All babies do this. He isn't sick of looking at you, he is just exploring the world around him. His eye sight gets better as each day passes and he can see more and more each day so hes like "ooo whats that over there, oh hi mommy but I'm really wondering what that thingy is!"

Don't worry and Good Luck!

2 months? Naw. sometimes parents are tooo sensitive. He knows your there, there are just so many other more interesting things to take in besides your faces all the time. He is absorbing his new world. He has only been here for 2 months, ya know?

Try speaking to him while you look at him and don't go so close, as a babies eye sight now is alot better.

He loves you and he is just checking out the world...don't worry mama and dada.

:D

He may be playing with you. I know at 2 months, you wouldn't think that babies want to play games...but maybe to him this is a game. You look at him, he looks away. He looks back.. then you look away. Me and my daughter play stuff like this all the time... it's our own version of peek-a-boo. :)
