I have that as well...I just try to bring a loved one with me (usually hubby) when I have to enter a social situation...that way I can look to him for support...and I can give him a little nod and he knows it's time to go

The oldest cure known to business..if afraid of people, look at them naked...it is amazing how little they become and your social phobias disappear...just try not to laugh out loud.

Change the belief on the phobia.
Phobia is a irrational scare on something, we cannot modify the behavior, but we can modify the thinking and belief.

There must be some irrational belief make you feel scare on something.
So, find it out and solve it.
You may need professional to help you if you can't solve it by yourself.

I know this sounds a bit harsh, but put yourself in a position where you have no choice. You'll get the hang of it with practice. Start small though.

Start small (one or two other people) and gradually work your way into bigger crowds.
