It's been there about six months- some of it quite thick and it streaked all over the window!

You can get a 4 inch wide glass and tile scraper at the Aubuchon Hardware Store link below or at most local hardware and building supply stores. This one should remove most of the putty. At this link you can also see they have several different types of scrapers that hold single edge razor blades that would be good for finer control in corners and such. If the thick areas are really tough to remove with the razor scraper then you may need to use a more sturdy wall and molding scraper, which you can also find at the root link below. However, you will need to be careful not to apply too much pressure to avoid cracking the glass. Good luck!

Scrape as much of it off as possible using a wet one sided blade. After scraping use WD-40 or goo off and let sit for awhile and scrape again. After completion wash the window with soap and water and then bring back the shine with Windex.

Try a metal putty knife and scrape it off.

A flat blade will scrape it off.

wet it a bit, then use a razor blade

wipe it with mineral spirits then clean it with glass cleaner
