I have been having that problem at the moment also. I hope you find an answer to yours, but at least te eyelid twitching for me is less obvious to others than the random hiccups that I had for 6 1/2 months!

Good luck and if itis caused by stress, try thinking about what it is that is putting pressure onto you, what do you worry about and how you can reduce it.

i had that before i was very anxious and stressed, whilst i was studying. and very nervous about a presentation due. it also happens alot to me when ive had lack of sleep. i worried alot about it, an my eyes were twitching constantly at least 10-15 times a day, it got very annoying, and the more it happened, the more stressed i got!! but eventually i stopped worrying about it, and forget that it was even happening, an then it stopped completly. i was so relieved! i dont wear glasses, so i knew it wasnt that. every now and again it comes back, and again this is due to mainly when i am stressed. so just chill out, and it should hopefully go x

It's just a muscle twitch, I get them when I'm very tired. They are also caused by too much caffine.
If it keeps going and bothering you, go see a doc.

erm that happened to me but my mum said that it is twitching because the nerve might be twisted or the muscles just leave it alone for a while it should stop

I don't know why that does that, but it is very annoying. I find if I cut down on my caffeine intake, the twitching goes away.

it might have something to do with the nerves, I used t have it sometimes and it just went away.

I think vitamin B12 will help, it helps with nerve function.

Good question. There was this one soap opera star who used to get it often & they just went on filming as though everything was normal. It was distracting & funny.
