Okay, here's the deal, I'm 21 and i recently hit the gym back up. I do a work out where it works my back, shoulders and chest. I do not stretch before...which is bad i know but my workouts aren't high level. So i'm doing my routine.... i sometimes don't do proper breathing so there is stress on my muscles..... few days ago my right shoulder, right side of neck feel stressed, and when i breath in through my mouth taking a kinda deep breath,my chest and alittle bit of my throat/neck hurt.

Now, i'm guessing it's because i haven't really worked out much and maybe combined with improper breathing while working out might have stressed my body out. Also, I wonder why the right side... my only answer to that is when i work out i notice my right arm feels more buff then my left(I write with my left, if this helps). So i'm thinking, since my right side gets more of a workout maybe this is why it's the right side only. When i went to sleep on my right side it starts to throb in my neck. Any

i don't know how much i can help, but seeing as you've had this problem up for quite a while and no one has helped, i'll give it a shot. the pain and aching is just your bodies reaction to the unexpected stress that you have recently put on it. you shouldn't exercise the same muscles everyday nor should you ever do anything without stretching. what you should have done is ease into the exercises but since you haven't, just think about that for next time. what you should do is take a break from any kind of physical movement and just do a few streches where it hurts every day. if you don't start recovering in a week and a half, consider seeing a doctor. you may have pulled or strained something that shouldn't be pulled or strained causing a sprain. good luck and feel better.

edit: in the mean time, i recommend asprin or motrin or something for the times it gets really bad. or at night.

Seems normal according to your description of your new routine of exercising. After all, you are using muscles you may not have used much or at all before. However, if you have serious concerns, you should consult your doctor. Good luck.
