There really is no best wax. All companies claim to have the best shine or protection. Go with a brand name. Look for something that is simple to apply and easy to rub off . Use a good clean cloth, something that is non abrasive. Always wash the car before applying the wax and never in the hot sun. Make sure the cars paint is cool. I sometimes add water to the wax applicator and then rub it into the paint to give it a deeper shine. Do small sections at a time too.

There are many choies because there is no best wax but there are lots of excellent choices. I use Zaino's (zainostore.com). Excellent finish but complicated to use. I would like to try Rejex, which is much easier to use and I've heard nothing but great things about it. See the link below for more information about waxes.
