The Icelandic Cyprine has a recorded age of about 340 years. It is classified as a mollusk, but is more like an oyster. The next largest lifespan is a tie between the giant tortoise and the bowhead whale, each of which have a recorded maximum lifespan of 260 years.

"Ox will live out its natural life span and die due to old age and natural causes." those natural causes are disease ie. pneumonia might not kill you when you are fit and strong at 16. but at 76 its an entirely different story humans are no longer subject to natural selection so those that would usually get weeded out by the bleak harshness of nature (parkinsons or even me, im short sighted) no longer get weeded out and remain in the population many animals have cancers, etc, its all part of life and as stated already, everything lives out its lifespan.
