Again, you are wrong. The responsibility of elected officials is to do what is right for the country. If Republicans do not agree with Democrats, so be it. I think it is a good thing. I don't want left wing liberal loonies running my country.

The sword cuts both ways. Why, when the Democrats filibustered in the Senate did they say that they were "preserving democracy", but when Republicans do the same thing, they are being obstructionist and "thwarting the will of the people"? Why do the Democrats have such a hypocritical double standard?

Whoever is in the majority in the House or Senate wants things to go their way, when the other side uses parliamentary procedure to stop them, it ticks them off.

And, remember, the Democrats aren't the majority party. There are 49 Democrats and 49 Republicans. the Democrats are given majority status because the 2 Independents caucus with them. If say Joe Lieberman switched to caucusing with the Republicans, the Senate would be split 50-50, and Cheney's tie-breaker status would give the Republicans the Senate back.

dont forget the sex thing...when Dems are found to have sex outside thier relationship it is flaw thats needs punishment...when Republicans visit a prostitute it is a flaw to be forgiven as human error.
