Do keyboards in other countries have the keys for say.. the british pound or euros or the other N in spanish? Or do they have to go to the "special characters" menu?
Just curious.

Yes there are different ones. I got a notebook from the U.S. and there is the dollar sign, not the pound sign. Also i have another keyboard from the Netherlands for my computer, it has the euro sign, not the pound sign. I don't know about the Spanish n though, never thought of that. But i do have to go to special characters menu just to get my pound sign in because i do live in Britain.

you can actually set your computer to pick up the keys if you have the language software on it. But they keys themselves do have the symobols for the country they are sold in.

Technically speaking you can use any keyboard as long as you have the software installed on the computer for that language. It just takes a bit to figure out where all the right keys are... he he he

Well if its in japan or korea or china they have a program that convets english letter to their writing language,in other countries like france of germany they have to make use of the alt+(combination of numpad numbers) to get the desired letter like for example alt+164=ñ =)
