Calm down, you'll get over it ... it was just a misunderstanding and you will eventually be able to laugh about it with him.

In the meantime just be friendly to everyone and the situation will sort itself out in time. Smile at this bloke in a friendly manner, if he acts the maggot and takes the piss out of you for this, then you were right to continue thinking ... stay cool and dignified in the face of such crass and immature behaviour; after all, you're better than that, dearie!

If he's nice about it, and cool, then that's okay. He'll have realised that it was just a silly misunderstanding.

Oh, and you SHOULD think. Never stop thinking around guys. Just because they like you doesn't mean you HAVE to go out with them - you go out with them because YOU like THEM.

Darling. If he thought anything of you, and he was a proper 'man', he'd do the chasing. If you case him, you'll chase him away. Play it cool, and think of all the other fish in the sea (there's millions), let him come to you. If he doesn't then you've lost nothing, because he's not worthy of you, and if he does, then great! Good luck and "be happy".

Just leave it alone
once the dust has settled if he's still interested he'll be around

AArrghh! If you want him ... take him. But you wouldn't be the first to do this? Surely give yourself some leeway? You're OK, you know.
