He is the only candidate who has opposed the war in Iraq from Day One. No backtracking, No having to make any excuses or saying he's sorry for having supported Bush on his inexorable march to war. He is the only candidate who makes Peace his guiding philosophy. People here mock his idea of a Department of Peace but I say if Jesus Christ were living today he would call Dennis a true Peacemaker. This is an idea whose time has come. Read his HR 808 here in his own words http://www.scribd.com/doc/191848/dennis-kucinich-2008-Department-of-Peace. To answer your question...Yes I do believe that he is the only candidate who can save the USA and if peace is not just an empty word, we should do everything we can to support him.

consider: Ten Key Issues

Universal Health Care
International Cooperation: US out of Iraq, UN in
Jobs and Withdrawal from NAFTA and WTO
Repeal of the "Patriot Act"
Guaranteed Quality Education, Pre-K Through College
Full Social Security Benefits at Age 65
Right-to-Choose, Privacy and Civil Rights
Balance Between Workers and Corporations
Environmental Renewal and Clean Energy
Restored Rural Communities and Family Farms

he may not be the only one, but he's the only one running for president who would want to try.

they keep bringing up doktor no. ("garnering a huge groundswell of support," who talks like that)? but the good doctor is a reagan republican, although a bit farther out in space than bonzo. dr paul would probably institute 87 new departments in federal government to facilitate creation of "a smaller government role." perhaps you are old enough to remember ronnies 'cut big government' plan. he created a department to cut government paperwork. problem was that this department generated a lot more paperwork than all the paperwork (combined) that it was designed to cut.

No. Gravel and Richardson are similar to Kucinich.
Any one of those three would be a big improvement over the other Republocrats.

Myself, I'm voting for the Greens' candidate in '08, because even those three best Democrats aren't up to my standards. I'm very particular.

He's the only one I've seen show true integrity. Everyone says it's hopeless though. That not he nor any nominee with a similar stance has a chance. It seems that though we founded this country agaist hierarchy it's exactly what we now have. I can't accept it's hopeless though because that's what they want us to think. I have to believe we have the power to change this system.

Ron Paul has cogent points and answers questions forthrightly. The media ignores him because he makes too much sense and of course, mass media is obviously controlled.

Ron Paul is garnering a huge groundswell of support though.

If you haven't heard him speak, (which is likely) you should check him out online. If you like plain speaking honest ideals, you will probably like Ron Paul.

Unfortunately he is not corrupt enough to win a rigged nomination! He makes a lot of sense! I wish him luck!
