Are a spent footballer and a minor 'pop' star really worth all this attention?

Heard a report on him just yesterday. He's going to make 6.5 million dollars a year for the next 5 years. The capper is that they've already made his salary (either the first year or total, I don't recall) w/sales of jerseys. He is making hiring him worthwhile for his bosses. Me, I don't care.

As for her, she's a no-talent, over made-up, over dyed, underfed, waste of time, space, and oxygen who was smart and lucky enough to latch onto him while he was in his prime.

No, they're not. They're the biggest pair of posers I've ever seen. OK, David was a very good football player, but what's Victoria ever done? She's not a good singer, she's got a weak voice. All she's famous for is promoting anorexia and making sure she's never far away from a photographer

As long as David plays football well in the States, he will justify his fame, Victoria just continues to be a jumped up wag, with neither a singing voice ar any other obvious talent, she is a hanger on with an eating disorder.

Although I can see your points, i think that David and Victoria are good role models. They have a strong marriage, are family-orientated and generally quite down to earth. At least they both have some talent-which can't be said of a lot of celebrities today *cough* Paris Hilton *cough*.

They are both a pair of low rate attention seekers,So by going to America they will hopfully be treated like the no hopers they really are, cant understand why we in this country should have to put up with all the reports about them.

Nope not worth all the attention but then again i don`t take any notice of them and find it ridiculous that anyone would put them on a pedestal

Hopefully the Americans will see right through them and decide like the majority of British people that we are glad they have gone.
