My college is organising an event to felicitate the academic achievers of the year... so for a change this year the students have been given a chance to organize the event.... We need themes that are synonymous with "achievement, victory, winning "etc for instance last year the theme used was "laurels" and the whole event had graeco-roman decor, the achievers were made to wear wreaths and even the invitation cards were like scrolls... so thats how we play around wih the theme... but it seems like all the ideas have been done before... can u help me out?????

Hmmm... some thoughts:

1. Why not go for a medieval theme complete with crowns, gold and the customary knigthing ceremony?

2. Or since where in the subject of crowns, a rustic "El Dorado" theme is interesting. Mayan/Aztec theme and the color motif is gold.

3. a Buddha theme is also nice, perfect in giving that "achieved and enlightened" message.
