I prefer to use a pad, because it's less risky. With a tampon there's the whole "oh no! Sis, it's stuck again!" drama. Not to mention Toxic Shock Syndrome when you forget to take it out. And the whole inserting the tampon part, i dislike. I think it's more natural, comfy, and safe to use pads.

The commercials are true- wearing a pad is like wearing a diaper. Pads are only good to use as back-up at night. Tampons rock!

I use pads at home and only ever wear tampons out...I NEVER sleep in tampons, I'm way too scared of toxic shock syndrome!

pads because you can make sure that you are bleeding and then on top of that, there is no possiblity that the pad could get stuck in you "whoo hoo". then you can slide the pad into your back pocket if your jeans have long back pockets. (mine do!) and idc what everybody else says, i dont like tampons because they could stuck up there.

Umm, pads because you sort of know to take them out at the right time. The idea of a tampon just makes me feel a bit sick to be honest incase you got that infection thing. Eeeeee, so yeah, pads. Whhhhhyyyyyyy?

Pads. They make me feel more secure that I am covered. I am the 1 in every 3 women who are prone to infections so I can't use TP's really.

pads. they're much more absorbent and clean up spilled juice and other messes much better. However, tampons are better to clean my nose with when I have a cold.

I think it's great you have a choice for both. I didn't...both were a necessity.
Honestly, tampons would be easier, but your not supposed to sleep in them.
So, get both...whatever works for you is all that matters.
