The race that I claim and is on my birth certificate is black. All of my features are not what someone would call traditionally black. But as someone pointed out to me, that tribes in Africa comes in all shades. I have the fuller lips and I have no clue where my nose comes from. So, I would say about 70% is features of my race.

No, I am not introspective or philosophical at the mirror. I am too busy looking ( with dismay) at how I'm aging and how my neck sags. Also, hairs are growing in places I couldn't imagine. Ech! Besides, things affect your face- like the language you speak- the muscles move differently, so someone who speaks French has subtle differences from an English speaker, for instance. As a result, you can have two people of the same race, from the same lineage, broght up in diiferent countries speaking different languages and their facial musculature will be slightly different due to differences in their speech patterns. I read that somewhere.

I have been told by Germans that I look like them, so that is what I see when I look in the mirror.
I see a little of the Native American and some of the Irish, too.

i'm a mixed breed if you will...
half hispanic and I would say white but I know that white isn't a race... but there are soo many different races that are in the quote unquote "white" category that i'm a part of lets just say white for simplicity purposes...
and loOking at me you would think that i was just a "white girl" with darker features...
but underneath it all when I loOk at myself in the mirror and I realize that I do loOk like my dad who is Hispanic... that I do see the traits that make me hispanic...
but if you didn't know me and you saw me you probably wouldn't think that...
but I see it yea.

Hi!
I am Creogin - someone who recognises their connectedness to everyone. Like most British people, I am saturated in the gene-pool of Celtic, Gypsy, Jewish, Spanish, African, Asian, Angle, Saxon, Viking, Jute ancestors.
When I look in the mirror, I see you as much as I see me.
Good wishes.
