Don't know to much about him. He's conservative from what I've read, so that's a plus. I remember reading something about him cracking down on the muslim immigration problem over there. Another big plus.

Many people like Sarkozy for his conservatism which is needed today due to dynamism.

Being American, I am glad he is pro American. However, just because he is pro American doesn't mean he is good for France. I do like some of his ideas to make France more competitive economically, but then again, I don't live there. I hope he is good for your country and your economy. Good luck with him and I hope he serves France well.
