One, tried to stay friends with all of them at one stage, but realised the reasons we broke up were reason enough not to stay friends either..
Plus there's too many emotions going on when you first break up with someone to try and work out a platonic friendship.
The one guy that I have stayed friends with I wasn't friends with for a couple of years, then caught up with him and his new mrs by accident, became friends with both of them and get along well -
Guess we needed that break to allow us to be friends again
