I don't understand why all through my adolescent, and now adult years, it has always seemed as though the most deceitful and dramatic girls seem to be the "queen bee". I don't understand why most girls choose to suck up to the meanest girls rather than stand up to them when they know perfectly well that they aren't a true friend to anyone but themselves. Am I the only who has noticed this or is confused by this? Any idea as to WHY this is so...?

there are three types of people-leaders and followers and the independents. The followers are unsure of themselves and need to follow others and live by their rules, and often willingly do it as they have no confidence in themselves. the leaders (and you can see it in politics) usually are selfish who feed on the praise given by worthless followers and think they are Gods gift to mankind. You ,as you can see belong to the independent group, who are usually intellegent, and sure of themselves. So keep being who you are and youll surely land up being somebody making important and wise decisions

:) Does this help? Most teenagers and sadly a lot of adults just are trying to survive and avoid social isolation.

It is all insecurities and immaturity
And to the queen bees....it is all about power and needing to be the center of everything. Often te queen bee is the most insecure one.
It is immature human nature. It is also hormones. Also a time when little girls start becoming a woman.
and another question is why do some guys go for those girls?
It is all a game.....it is a mini example of the world.

In the end I figure that those in the A group aka queen bee
are reaching their peak as a person in High School. And that is it. The later bloomers have a better chance of being sucessful in life. Stay looking younger and prettier/

Yes, it is confusing, but it becomes clearer when you get a bit older. Most girls are skilled at manipulation at an early age, and in adolescence, that really comes to the forefront. Since teens are so insecure generally, they fall for the manipulation of the most skilled manipulator, and she keeps them enchanted with her antics. Usually, she also has the advantage of having perfect hair, a perfect body, and the right clothes, and other girls follow her because they want some of that magic to rub off on them.

The good news is it gets better when you get older. Good looks and a diva personality only get you so far in life. Around the mid to late 20s, they start to count for less and less. Other women get tired of it, and men start to understand there's more to a woman than the outside package. At that point, the "queen bee" either has to grow a personality darn quick, or she finds herself with precious few friends. She can get plenty of first dates, a fair amount of second ones, and usually a relationship or two, but she can't get the thing which becomes the gold standard as you get older--a solid loving relationship with a good man (or woman, if she's a lesbian--but the queen bees are rarely lesbians).

I know how to play the girl game very well. I am smart enough to know the rules, and I can outplay most women, but the truth is I don't because they bore me. Instead, I hang out with the boys. I have about 3 close female friends, and all the rest of my really close friends are male. Less crap, and more respect for me as a person. They are also a lot more interesting--there's only so much conversation you can have about shoes and hairstyles before you run out of interesting things to say. As a bonus, when you hang out with the guys, it drives the queen bees crazy--you get a kind of attention and respect they want but cannot figure out how to get. They can get sex, but they cannot get respect, and that drives them crazy. When you can get respect, you can get sex any time you want it, but it doesn't work the same way the other way around.

Just keep your wits about you. Ignore the shallow women--they either grow out of it, or they simply become very sad and pathetic women with few friends. Either way, if you stay yourself, and true to who you are, you're miles ahead in life.

Be well.

It's the nature of any alpha/dominant - especially when younger. Younger people tend to be not as sure of themselves, so when they see another girl (who may be the mean/deceitful type) displaying signs of dominance/self assurance, some girls will naturally gravitate towards them, giving them the recognition of being "leader of the pack".
