It depends on your age and weight. Active or inactive? Most athletes dont have regular periods because of the exercise they get. I have not had a period in 3 months I am 35...It is early menopause my doctor told me. Some Slimmer people dont have regular periods because of the exercise thing stated above.
Chemical changes in teens can also cause irregular periods.
In any case go to your Doctor, tell him every symptom (even if it is minor) to get a proper diagnosis.

Ok. here goes my two cents worth.....
I think you may be under more stress than you think.Wanting another baby is a really stressful issue in of itself. But there could be many many things that can temporarily stop your periods.
1. Stress
2. Illness
3. Age
4. Weight - Believe it or not
5. Dieting - food intake

I had the same thing happen before.don't get worried.
call the doc schedule some blood test ,if he/she isn't willing to take normal rutine testing seriously find another doc. it could be something small like not enough iron in your blood like mine was. It also occurred when i would diet.
Well there you have it there isn't any good answer here because it could be a bunch of things really. Hope all goes well . Lisa

That can happen for alot of different reasons, a couple of them are too much exercise, fast weight loss or hormonal changes in your body. Do you have other signs that your prego? The movement could be gas. Did the docs do a blood test or urine preg test? If it was just a pee test ask for a blood test to ease your mind. Go back to the Dr they can give meds to you that can start or stop periods. They may have to use hormones or birth control to get you regular again.

You do sound stressed. Your wish to have a baby may be affecting your period, and may be causing you to feel a little movement in your abdomen.

My mom struggled to get pregnant and never did. Then she stopped trying and just figured if its meant to be it will happen, and then she was pregnant!

So, stop trying. Just have fun!
